رئیس دیکاستری گفت وگوی ادیان واتیکان
خبر ارتحال پاپ فرانسیس، رهبر فرهیخته مسیحیان جهان، مایه اندوه گشت. این مصیبت، نه‌تنها قلوب مؤمنان آیین عیسی مسیح، که ضمیر آگاه ادیان الهی و همه مشتاقان صلح و عدالت و حقیقت را در سوگی سترگ فرو برد.
او عالمی بیدار، دینداری بردبار، و سالکی صلح‌گستر بود، که با بینشی دینی و رویکردی انسانی، راه گفت‌وگوی ادیان را گشود و با عزم و جسارت، از کرامت آدمی و مظلومان جهان پاسداری نمود.
شورای دین‌پژوهان ایران، این ضایعه بزرگ را به شما و عموم پیروان آیین مسیح، دیار واتیکان، رهبران دینی جهان، و دوستداران آن فقید سعید، تسلیت می‌گوید؛ و ضمن تعظیم به مقام معنوی آن سفرکرده، بر تداوم راه وحدت، همزیستی، و همدلی ادیان، به‌عنوان ضرورتی برای صلح پایدار و کمال بشری، تأکید می‌ورزد.
از درگاه حضرت سبحان، برای روح آن مرد ربانی، رحمت واسعه و آرامش جاودان، و برای بازماندگان و پیروانش، صبر و تسلای دل، مسئلت داریم.

The news of the passing of Pope Francis, the esteemed leader of the Christian world, brought deep sorrow. This loss has cast a shadow of grief not only over the hearts of the faithful followers of Jesus Christ but also over the conscious spirits of all divine religions and all those who yearn for peace, justice, and truth.
He was a vigilant scholar, a patient believer, and a peacemaker on the spiritual path—who, with religious insight and a human-centered approach, opened the way for interfaith dialogue and, with determination and courage, upheld human dignity and defended the oppressed across the globe.
The Iranian Council of Religious Scholars extends its heartfelt condolences to you, to all followers of the Christian faith, the Vatican community, religious leaders worldwide, and all admirers of that noble figure. While honoring the spiritual stature of the departed, we reaffirm the necessity of continuing the path of unity, coexistence, and interreligious harmony as a foundation for lasting peace and human flourishing.
We pray to the Almighty for His vast mercy and eternal peace upon the soul of that devout servant, and for patience and solace for his followers and loved ones.
